ASTRO, the popular K-pop group, is officially reuniting for a solo concert — and it comes with an emotional surprise. Former member Rocky, who left the group in February 2023, will be joining them on stage once again.
According to their agency Fantagio, the concert aims to create meaningful memories with their fans, known as AROHA. The idea for the concert emerged while the members were preparing their special single “Twilight.” Encouraged by both the agency and the members’ shared desire to reconnect with fans, the concert will mark ASTRO’s first solo show in three years since 2022.
Fantagio stated, “The members have shown strong enthusiasm for reuniting with AROHA, which led us to plan this special event.”
The reunion carries special significance with the participation of Rocky. Although he is no longer under contract with Fantagio, the label revealed, “After thorough discussions with all members, we invited Rocky to join this meaningful performance, and he agreed.”
Rocky will perform songs he originally participated in, alongside the current members, aiming to recreate cherished memories shared with AROHA. Fantagio added, “We are working to deliver a nostalgic and heartwarming stage that brings back the bond between ASTRO and their fans.”
The agency also emphasized, “We will do our best to ensure this concert becomes a touching and unforgettable moment for ASTRO, Rocky, and AROHA alike.”
ASTRO debuted in 2016 as a six-member group: MJ, JinJin, Cha Eun-woo, Moonbin, Yoon San-ha, and Rocky. Tragically, Moonbin passed away in April 2023. Despite his absence, fans continue to embrace ASTRO as a group of five, always including Moonbin in spirit. The concert teaser poster released by Fantagio features silhouettes of all six members — including Rocky — as a tribute to their journey together.
